As Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, you will oversee a comprehensive and technologically advanced pathology and laboratory program while serving as a key member of the medical center's leadership team.
You will provide executive oversight for:
- Clinical and Anatomic Pathology operations
- Laboratory quality management and regulatory compliance
- Laboratory managers, quality managers, and section chiefs
- Transfusion medicine, hematology, microbiology, chemistry, molecular diagnostics, cytology, surgical pathology, and point-of-care testing
- Strategic planning, quality improvement initiatives, and laboratory innovation
- Consultation and collaboration with medical staff throughout the healthcare system
- Oversight of laboratory services provided across multiple care locations
